SpaceX CEO Elon Musk recently tweeted that the company is already considering the many ways in which it might use its next-generation Starship launch vehicle. According to the SpaceX CEO, ideas range from using Cargo Starships for sweeping up space debris with their mouth-shaped cargo bays to a scaled-down version of the rocket for rapidly sending large spacecraft around the solar system. In addition to tethering Starships together in space, Musk said SpaceX has also considered making these vehicles into orbital observatories that would be a magnitude stronger than Hubble, thereby allowing passengers to ride on multi-month journeys between planets.
