It helped in testing critical systems, supported in, efficient communication, protection of human life, and provided us with better technology. NASA is inviting citizens to join them. They take online sessions and tell citizens what to observe. And if a volunteer finds something significant, they can run it through NASA, and if it turns out to be something important or new, they get a chance to research it further with NASA.
